Every SchoolBite pizza is crafted to comply with USDA school nutrition requirements, so schools can serve with confidence and students get a meal that’s as nutritious as it is delicious. Our crust is made with at least 51% whole grains, sodium levels are strictly controlled to meet USDA target limits, and we use lite mozzarella cheese to keep fat content in check all while hitting the right calorie ranges for each age group.
One slice of Golden Grain SchoolBite typically fulfills up to two ounce-equivalent servings of whole grains, meets the daily meat alternate requirement through our reduced-fat cheese and lean proteins, and our specialized pizza sauce counts toward the weekly Red/Orange vegetable subgroup checking every component box your school needs.
